About Us

Urban Sync is a town planning and land development consultancy based in Cairns, Far North Queensland.

We provide practical, outcomes-focused development advice to both private and public sector clients, specialising in coordinating complex projects and managing technical consultants to achieve timely, compliant approvals.

Who We Are

Urban Sync is led by Stuart Ricketts, a town planning professional with over 20 years' experience in development assessment and approvals across the Cairns region.

Stuart has worked on a wide range of projects, from small residential developments through to major regional infrastructure and commercial initiatives.

His long-standing involvement in the local planning environment has developed strong working relationships with key statutory authorities and leading technical consultants. This network supports Urban Sync's ability to delivery efficient, well-structured and practical planning outcomes.

We take a straightforward, commercially aware approach to planning advice, focused on reducing delays, avoiding unnecessary costs, and supporting successful project delivery.
