Stuart Ricketts

Director and Senior Town Planner

Stuart is an expert in the coordination and delivery of complex statutory approvals and has a strong track record of successfully guiding clients through the statutory planning processes. Stuart is a competent Approvals Manager having completed several long-term projects that rely in input from numerous technical disciplines, plus an understanding of the environmental, community and infrastructure demands which affect planning outcomes.
His long-term involvement in the planning and development industry in Cairns, including UDIA and other representative groups, has allowed him to build strong relationships with statutory authorities and leading technical consultants in related fields. Stuart is passionate about delivering sustainable outcomes.

Matt Ingram

Planning Manager

Matt joined Urban Sync in January 2016. Prior to this, Matt spent time in both local government and private practice which has given him a unique understanding of both sides of a development and the application process.

Matt has hands-on experience and a proven track record in delivering technical and strategic consulting services for a wide range of developments ranging from small lot subdivisions to larger, more complex developments requiring State and Federal involvement.

Nash Davison

Town Planner

Nash has completed his Bachelor’s in Planning from James Cook University. Before joining Urban Sync, Nash completed work experience with Project Management in the private sector and as a Microbial Damage Assessment Technician in the restoration consulting and insurance industry, which gave him insight into development and statutory frameworks.

Since joining in March 2023, Nash has gained experience in the research and assessment of small-scale development projects, including residential, industrial and commercial developments across Tropical North Queensland and Torres Straits.
