Comport Industrial Buildings

The site, formally home to a refrigerated transport operation, was cleared and repurposed to align with the strategic vision for industrial growth under the CairnsPlan 2016.

Urban Sync managed the planning process and successfully secured the development approval of a new medium impact industrial precinct. This project involved the construction of two architecturally designed industrial buildings, each compromising five tenancies, to support a range of medium impact industry uses.

The completed project provides over 4,200m2 of gross floor area with 52 on-site car parks, landscaped areas, and upgraded service connections. The outcome delivers flexible, high-quality industrial spaces that contribute to the ongoing activation and expansion of Cairns’ Portsmith industrial area.
